Taylor Lintner, PA-C
Taylor Lintner is a board-certified Physician Assistant who began her career with Wyse Eyecare in 2019. She is from the Northwest Chicago Suburbs and earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Science at the University of Missouri, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then studied and trained as an EMT, and came to work at Wyse Eyecare initially as a scribe. She then went on to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Dominican University.
After completing her PA degree, Taylor was recruited back to Wyse Eyecare because of her exceptional warmth, interest in eyecare, and passion for learning. Her years working in the office beside the ophthalmologists and optometrists provided an excellent foundation for a career in eyecare. She was then trained by our doctors in examination of the eye and medical treatment, with an emphasis on dry eye and postoperative care. She has become proficient in providing postoperative cataract care where her attention to detail and rapport with patients is key.
Taylor understands that a healthy ocular surface is key to allowing our surgeons to provide the best results in cataract surgery. For many of our patients with dry eye and blepharitis, she helps optimize the surface of the eye by treating these conditions before surgery. A smooth, uninflamed surface of the eye allows our team to get better measurements before cataract surgery, thus providing a more precise surgical outcome. Taylor has received extensive training in treatment of dry eye and blepharitis with lubricants, medications and noninvasive procedures including Blephex, Tearcare, and Lipiflow.
Taylor became interested in skincare during a rotation in Dermatology while in PA school. She has gone on to receive special training in medical grade facial treatments, chemical peels, DiamondGlow facials and medical grade skincare products. She and our esthetician, Jennie Bubloni, provide individualized skincare evaluations and consultations to customize a skin treatment plan and ongoing maintenance plans for our patients.
Taylor is a member of the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Allergen Medical Institute.
Beyond her professional interests, Taylor is a compassionate community member, with a passion for medical volunteering. Her hobbies include photography, biking, playing guitar, and training her dog. She enjoys spending time outside and with family and friends. Patients can rely on Taylor’s commitment to lifelong learning and an authentic enthusiasm for making a positive impact on their healthcare journey.
